Introduction:

Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital plans to expand its presence with the construction of new hospital at vicinity of MultiCare’s current Tacoma campus.

Features:

New hospital includes operating room, imaging machine, exam table and beds specially dedicated for children’s speciality care.

The new facility is designed with following features:

•     A pediatric emergency department
•     Hybrid interventional cardiac catheterisation and interventional radiology suite
•     10 operating rooms to support a surgical center of excellense
•     Hematology/Oncology clinic and infusion center
•     Dedicating imaging, lab and pharmacy services
•     Sheled space for future growth.

The new Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital will provide pediatric care for the patients and communities.

The construction of the new project is set to begin in early 2021 and expected to be completed by the end of 2024. Since the project includes building various surgical and emergency centers for different department’s will take a number of years to complete.
