Patient Infotainment Terminal

The all-in-one patient infotainment is a bedside terminal providing multimedia entertainment and communication choices. Patient infotainment terminal also benefits medical staff by offering secure access to electronic patient data remotely with an optimized hospital workflow as a professional diagnosis aid.

Patient-Infotainment-Terminals (PIT) are equipped a 15.6" or 17” multi-function touchscreen, Wi-Fi, RFID, handset, smart card reader and 2 megapixel camera. It provides patients with various entertainment programs such as TV, movies or computer games because of Microsoft Windows and Intel processor. Patients can easily communicate with families by internet using the camera, Wi-Fi and Ethernet (RJ-45) connectivity. Identification recognition for both hospital staff and patients is possible with the RFID and smart card reader.

Added flexibility is provided through I/O interfaces such as USB ports, an earphone and a microphone jack. Additionally, an LED light indicator and nurse call button help alert hospital staff to important incidents.
